One day in autumn 2018, mom and I were walking around my hood (the Upper West Side), and we noticed a bit of grafitti. We hadn’t noticed it before. It looked a lot like me. It seemed out of place, but strangely, very appropriate.  Mom took a couple of photos with my cell phone and we went on our way. We began to see a bit more graffitti on trash cans, construction containers, walls and other miscellaneous items. Graffiti isn’t the norm here in the UWS, but we forgot about it. Then we were walking around about a month later and we saw another of what I call “Graffiti Me”, because it looks like me. And then another. Now mom and I look for Graffiti Me all around the UWS. As we discover more of these likenesses of me, we’ll add them to the collection. And guess what? We found two more…
